Age Concern provide a variety of social programmes to older people, weekly / fortnightly / monthly.
We are seeking volunteers to help with our social activities.
All our activities come with a cuppa and morning tea.
Activities are held weekly / fortnightly / monthly / one-off.
Assisting with set up of hall and clean up, preparation and serving of morning tea. A staff member is also present.
Enthusiastic bakers would be welcome (our members love home-baking!).
Some of our activities are regular, same day and time; other activities are one-off monthly.
Flexible, most activities are of a 2-hour duration, with exception of day trips (within Napier/Hasting/CHB).
Commitment to assisting can be varied around our activity calendar.
Enjoys spending time with older people to support them to remain socially connected
A team member who works with other volunteers and Age Concern staff.
