Preference is given to those with Board experience. Our Treasurer, Secretary and Chairpersons role are filled so volunteer Board Members are required to support and add value to our decision making and support the Manager and our organisation itself.
Volunteering Hawkes Bay connects volunteers to organisations in the Hawkes Bay community to provide support for the not for profit sector.
We offer resources, training/workshops and acknowledge our valued volunteers through annual appeal days throughout the year.
Police vetting is required.
To be honest, reliable, able to share their ideas, be part of a team and an affiliation with the not for profit sector.
Our Board meets every 2nd month at 5.30pm on the second Tuesday of the month.
We meet at the Hive, 200 Market Street, North, Hastings.
This year we are developing our strategic plan and have committed to four meetings on the alternate months on a Saturday morning 9am - 12noon
