As an Incorporated society, BudgetFirst is overseen by an Executive Board who have responsibility for the strategic direction of the organisation. We have three officers, a Chairman, Treasurer and Secretary, plus three Board members.

Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced Treasurer to join our Executive Board. You will be responsible for drafting the annual budget, and reporting monthly profit & loss, and balance sheet. We use Xero for all our accounting needs, and part of the role will be finalising our annual accounts ready for audit.

A Ministry of Justice background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

The Board meets 10 times per year on a Monday evening, from 5pm - 7pm.
