Paynters Cidery

The festival is taking place for the first time in the north island at Hawkes Bay’s Tomoana Showgrounds on Saturday 13th November, from 1 – 7pm. Would be required to turn up before gates open to general public and stay to assist with pack down.

You will be assisting the owner of Paynter’s Cider (and a couple of other staff) with everything from set up/pack down to cider tastings and everything in between. It will be a fun opportunity. In return for your help:

Snack including a non alcoholic drink such as juice
Paynter’s Cider thank you gift.

  • Pouring (tastings) samples/glasses will be done under the supervision of licensed manager (rudimentary training will be given along with the festival license
    restrictions. Also basic training on the range of Paynter’s Cider). You will have to be able to be discerning i.e. does the customer look younger than 18 (do you
    need to ask for age verification) and is the person or persons intoxicated? NB: There are experienced staff on hand at assist.
  • Restocking supplies, doing food/coffee/water runs
  • Have fun as it is a neat event. NB: You will be working but not to hard.
Time commitment:

All day event from 1pm until 7pm. You will be expected to turn up before gates open to general public and stay to assist with pack down.
