Treasurer - Board of Trustees

Oversees financial administration of the organisation and reports to the board.
Maintains payment records
Authorises monthly bills
Provides monthly financial statements to the board.
Draws up budgets and cash flows.
Ensures solvency of the organisation.
Makes recommendations to the board on income, expenditure, debts, investments.
Ensures the annual report is prepared for the auditor.

Requirements:

We are using XERO Accounting and track received and spent funding for monthly reports. The successful applicant must be experienced.

A Police background check is required for this role.

Time commitment:

5 hours per month and more for end of year preparation of a review for annual reports
