We have an opportunity to help lead the delivery of an exciting Para sport / Paralympic sport programme - Gotcha Boccia.
The Community Boccia Activator role will give you practical experience in the following areas:
- Project planning and activity implementation for a Paralympic sport
- Relationship building and engagement with stakeholders in the disability and sports sector
- Skills and knowledge development to be able to coordinate and deliver safe, inclusive, and fun community Boccia sessions
- Collecting insights to improve the experience and meet the needs of disabled people in community Para sport
Wednesday 5pm - 7pm (session runs from 5.30 - 6.30pm with time for setup and packdown) from 26 July for 6 weeks, then four weeks and ongoing as available to support the Boccia Round Robin competition.
Applicants are not required to have experience in working with disabled people nor have knowledge of boccia as on-the-job learning will occur.
Having a passion for sport is ideal.
