In this position you will be required to be the welcoming face of Pursuit in the community. You will be responsible for completing all administration work to get youth into sustainable employment. This project will require you to meet and create great relationships with employers in different industries and match the need of Pursuit clients.
You'll be working 2 days a week for 6 months and if you excel in the position then we will offer further paid employment, working 3 days a week (18 hours total).
The key responsibilities in this role are...
Customer Service
- Taking a proactive approach in getting to know clients

Ensuring that incoming telephone calls are received and distributed in a professional manner

Ability to remain professional under pressure even when faced with hard to manage clients
General Administration Tasks

Accurate and timely completion of client bookings and paperwork

Operating office machines, photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, and voice mail systems
- Writing and sending emails, letters and reports to stakeholders
Data Entry and Report Writing

Ensuring the reports are written well and the information is accurate at all times

Collating data and writing a report summary

Using MYOB or relevant software programs to deliver the right outcomes
• Excellent standards of personal presentation
• Demonstrate ability to provide a high level of customer service both face-to-face, on the phone and through social media platforms
• Excellent level of communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Prior experience in a face-to-face customer service role
• Preference in working with high needs client groups such as people with a disability, English as a second language, addictions, homelessness, and mental health issues will be considered highly desirable.
• Excellent time management skills along with sound administrative and organisational skills
• Competence in operating Microsoft Suite of products and social media applications)
