Equipment Delivery Drivers

Are you confident driving a small truck and able to spare a few hours each week?

Cranford Hospice loans electric beds to patients at home to better their quality of life.

We need volunteers to collect beds from the hospice in Hastings and deliver them to patients in Hastings/Napier.

Similarly when patients no longer require the bed in their home we need the bed to be collected and returned to Cranfield Hospice in Hastings.

As well as driving there is some lifting involved. As some bed parts that need to be carried and loaded into the truck weigh about 30kgs you need to be physically fit. To assist with the lifting our volunteers work in pairs.

Volunteers are required Tuesday and Friday mornings 9.30am - 12.00pm and Wednesday afternoon 12.00 - 3.00pm.

Driver licence is required.
