Nourished for Nil Napier needs volunteers to carry out assorted jobs to ensure the smooth running of the Onekawa Food Bank. This key service provides much needed food to everyone. We work with larger food service organisations to achieve ‘Zero Food Waste’ in the Hawkes Bay.
Our volunteers usually help out for one or two, three-hour shifts each week. The hours are between 9 am and noon, weekdays but we can be flexible.
The type of person we are looking for (is):
- Someone who is organised and can follow directions
- People who are able to understand and work within food safety protocols
- Friendly and happy to work alongside our busy team members
