Social Media Co-ordinator

Abbeyfield Hawkes Bay Inc. is an innovative housing model for older people wanting to retain their independence but enjoy the company of others.  We are  getting this project underway here in Hawkes Bay and  we are looking for a social media coordinator to help us spread the word about  Abbeyfield.

The duties and responsibilities of the Social Media co-ordinator are:- 

  • Understanding KPI’s and defining them specifically for social media

  • Providing attractive and informative campaigns

  • Monitoring all social media content

  • Tracking the performance of the campaign

  • Keeping up with technologies used in social media

  • Using social media marketing tools

  • Tracking customer engagement to optimise campaign content

  • Establishing relationships/networks with industry professionals or influencers on social media

The type of person we are looking for (is): 
  • Has passion about social media
     
  • Is competent with major social media platforms and social media management tools
     
  • Proficient with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
     
  • Demonstrates excellent social listening skills
     
  • Relates well to others
     
  • Is a critical thinker
     
  • Writes in a clear and engaging manner
