For 75 years we’ve supported vulnerable children, families, disabled people, and older people through our work in Hawke’s Bay and Tairāwhiti. We couldn’t do all this without volunteers. Their generosity helps us raise the $1 million+ we need to continue making a difference in the community. We’re looking for more great people to join our volunteer team.
You’ll make new friends, learn new skills, and be part of social change in the lives of local people. Our Napier and Taradale Charity Shops are on the lookout for Retail Assistants to support the many varied activities each day. If you have an eye for detail and a knack for finding treasures you will enjoy receiving donations, picking out the gems, and creating displays. If you’re a passionate upcycler or sewer then the sky is the limit in our shops, with broken zips, missing buttons, and dropped hems awaiting your care. Or if you enjoy dealing with shoppers, and you’re outgoing and friendly you might be comfortable working on the till (full training given).
