Can you sew a funky apron?

The Parkinson's community are reaching out to sewers in the community to make funky aprons they are happy to donate to us to be sold at Tulip Cream Tea events happening in September and October, or to be sold via our Tulip Cream Tea FB page. All proceeds stay local and will assist in providing services to those living with Parkinson's.
Please share this far and wide and post on your local Community pages. Hopefully we will gain a group of loyal sewers to make these for us each year. It is a really fun way of engaging another sector of our community and giving people the chance to "do some good" with their spare fabric and sewing machines. There is no pattern, it is up to the sewer to get creative. If you are interested in getting behind this fantastic campaign and helping people in the Hawke's Bay with well needed funds to benefit those living with Parkinson's, please get in contact with me directly, or email The world is our Tulip!
